I think it might need some wording or something....but i'm not so good with the mixed media. I am kinda battling with myself at the moment over my style and what i want to achieve. I have looked at much mixed media on etsy and would love to be able to do that! But i can't. I think i have to give into the 'i am what i am' thing.
I think that painting has worked out really well! I love the colours and can definately see it reproduced as notecards! Don't give up :)

ReplyDeleteAs for mixed media, you can always start out simple. I did my first bit by painting a background color and then writing lyrics to songs over it in sharpie. Then I painted the figure or figures over the lyrics, and it gives some neat texture.
I think it is a very pretty painting. I love the colors in the butterfly.
