What i've done

So...totally exhausted myself with that last post lol!!! I've been on a diet all week....and felt so grrrr after typing that post that i made myself a plate of left over chinese from last night :D lol.

Continuation of my slow saturday!

Well...not much has changed since this morning. Its still slow, haven't achieved much. Printed out a few pics that i may put on etsy in a frame. Its 5.40pm here....haven't even got any make up on yet :S What a sight!

I feel very angry right now.....i have just read a blog post.....a 'begging blog post'. Now this person has put her email addy on every single post asking for contributions via paypal. OMG!

We all have to work....we all have some financial difficulty throughout our lives....but NEVER would i consider begging like that.....so blatantly. It has actually made my blood boil! I read this persons profile and its apparent that she is extremely religious and while i have no argument about that....this isn't the first time that i've heard about somebody begging in that way! grrrrrrr is all i can say. If you haven't got it....find it some other way....don't beg.....just don't have!!!!

Need a boost of something

Struggling to get motivated today. There is so much to do in here....tidying, washing and the like....and getting creative. I've been trying to teach myself to play the piano again.....which isn't going well....but am NOT going to give up! My spare room is a tip again!!!! lol. Guess i should get my butt into gear!

I am soooo excited! I've just discovered i've sold another painting...this time on Etsy :)

It boosts me so much to know that someone likes my work enough to buy it.

I cannot tell you how pleased i am right now :)

Whoop whoopin'

Well i successfully completed my first ever exhibition!!!  I was so nervous as, apart from etsy, i've never really shown my work!  So anyway....after all the nerves and embarassment....i've just discovered i've sold TWO paintings :D  I got lots of really positive feedback about my work...which was probably the best thing about it.

Totally chuffed......and here they are!

Another.....

Yesterday was a totally non productive day.  It was my first day back at work after four days and just couldn't find any inspiration.  Tonight, however, i have cut, torn, glue, painted, stamped, drawn and smudge and loved every minute.  The colours in this painting are very earthy, but due to the dusk light outside i've had to use a flash which has completely ruined the colour!  All i wanna say is.....this is how i've always wanted to paint!!!!  I'm loving it!  So the above is a little self portrait :)

There is more to add...but night time duties call....dinner, tidy and the like :)

I had a lovely birthday

And this was one of my pressies :D  Am so pleased to have it.  I found Kelly Rae completely by mistake, when i very first discovered Etsy and then blogging.  She was probably one of the first blogs i loved and read every new entry.  Kelly Rae totally totally inspired me and enabled me to think bigger and play with ideas.  So i'm totally chuffed with this book....and started reading straight away. 

And this was just a random pic that i snapped last night.  I really love it :)
 

Today.....Is my birthday :)

I got lots of lovely cards.....a lovely tv from OH :) and some beautiful flowers from my very good friend :D  which was such a lovely surprise :)

Tonight....its food and drink time :)

Is there any point?

It wasn't my intention to write personal blurb on my blog! It was intended to be purely of a creative nature!

But today....i feel deflated. I have no creative bone left in my body. The sun is shining, but it could be raining for all i know. I'm at work and don't wanna be here, but i don't wanna be at home either. Its my birthday in 3 days time! I will be 37.

Today....i feel sad.
